Glasgow Airport Parking Smashes Targets As Investors Receive 10% Returns

Glasgow airport parking investments from commercial property company Park First have exceeded expectations by paying out returns of over 10% to investors. Customers who purchased the first wave of car parking spaces at Glasgow International Airport from Park First are now entering the third year of their investment. August Marks Gatwick’s Busiest Month in its History

4.53 million passengers pass through the airport in August, +3.7% on previous year. The airport has achieved 30 months of consecutive growth with 39.5 million passengers passing through the airport in the last twelve months, +6% year on year. Gatwick CEO Stewart Wingate said: “Airports Commission analysis predicted Gatwick would reach 40 million annual passengers in 2024 yet, in August 2015, we reached the 39.5 million passengers mark. We are in touching distance of 40 million and on track to reach this milestone within a matter of weeks. Busiest Ever July At Gatwick As The Airport Achieves 2.5 Years Of Consecutive Growth

Glasgow Airport Records Busiest July In Seven Years

One of Europe’s fastest growing airports – passenger numbers up by 13.7% Glasgow Airport has recorded its busiest July in seven years after 956,483 passengers travelled through its doors – an increase of 13.7% – representing its ninth consecutive month of double digit growth. International traffic grew by 15.3%, with long haul services including WestJet’s daily flight to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Virgin Atlantic’s direct route to Orlando reporting particularly strong demand. July also saw thousands of travellers take to the skies to European sun destinations including Crete, Majorca, Tenerife and the Costa del Sol. Glasgow And London Gatwick Among Europe’s Fastest Growing Airports

Glasgow and London Gatwick are among Europe’s fastest growing airports of 2015 according to a leading European airport trade body. ACI Europe has released its traffic report for January to June 2015 which shows that both London Gatwick and Glasgow Airports are the third fastest growing airports in their respective categories during in June 2015. London Gatwick saw 5.4% more passenger traffic between January and June 2015 than the same period last year, while Glasgow International Airport saw a 13.8% increase in passenger numbers during the first six months of 2015, compared to the same period last year. ACI Europe Air Traffic Report – Glasgow Airport One Of Europe’s Fastest Growing Airports

Glasgow Airport was one of Europe’s fastest growing airports during the first six months of 2015 according to European airport trade body, ACI Europe, which has released its traffic report for June, Q2 and H1 2015 (January to June). The report confirmed that Glasgow Airport was also the third fastest growing airport in its category during June 2015. ACI Europe categorises airports based on passenger numbers with Glasgow Airport falling into group three – airports welcoming between 5 and 10 million passengers.
