Gatwick Airport has done it again: busiest-ever April!

Gatwick Airport continues its success month to month and in April, it wasn’t going to be different. Last month, the number of passengers increased by 4% on the previous year, which means that 3.3 million passengers passed through Gatwick’s doors. In addition, there is other news to celebrate: from next month, there will be 28 new flights a week to Canada that will directly link the UK to the Chinese growth markets Chongqing and Tianjin.

Glasgow registers its busiest February

582,879 passengers came through Glasgow Airports’ doors in February, which showed an increase of 14.1% from the previous year. Domestic traffic grew the most (by 14.8%) with Flybe’s services to Exeter and Cardiff being one of the most popular. Other companies that were in high demand due to their London routes were easyJet, British Airways and Ryanair.

Gatwick Airport reports its busiest February

London Gatwick Airport has registered its most crowded February in its history. During this month, 2.7m passengers have gone through its doors, which has meant an increase of 9% in comparison with the previous period. In addition, other good news is that this year there will be 20 new long distance flights operating from this airport to destinations over four continents. Some of these are Canada, the United States of America, Hong Kong, Cuba, Peru and Costa Rica.
