According to the passenger’s details, April has been a fantastic month for Glasgow Airport as it has registered its busiest April in its history. It has been possible thanks to the almost 722,000 people that travelled through this airport. This figure means an increase of 8.5% in comparison with the same period last year.

Gatwick Airport continues its success month to month and in April, it wasn’t going to be different. Last month, the number of passengers increased by 4% on the previous year, which means that 3.3 million passengers passed through Gatwick’s doors. In addition, there is other news to celebrate: from next month, there will be 28 new flights a week to Canada that will directly link the UK to the Chinese growth markets Chongqing and Tianjin.

During the month of March 3.1 million passengers have travelled through Gatwick Airport, which has been the busiest ever March in its history. With an increase of 5.8% year on year, Gatwick also has to celebrate its third year of consecutive month on month growth.
